Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a controller and a conveyance system such that a simulation of sensor information can be easily performed without heavily relying on the type of a conveyance system and by utilizing a controller of the conveyance system. A workpiece simulation unit (550) estimates, upon estimating a movement amount of a workpiece from drive information pertaining to at least one of actuators (610) which is assumed to be tied to the workpiece as indicated by a restraining condition, the current position of the workpiece by adding the movement amount to the previous position of the workpiece. A sensor simulation part (561) generates sensor simulation information by using the current position of the workpiece. An input/output switching unit (570) transmits the drive information to the workpiece simulation unit (550), and the sensor simulation information to a control program execution unit as substitution information for sensor information.
