Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a controller, input/output device, and communication system which, while ensuring usability on the part of a user, are capable of more diverse inputs or outputs between the user and an information processing device. Provided is a controller, comprising: a multipolar jack into which is inserted a multipolar single-head plug of an input/output device which comprises the multipolar single-head plug; and a communication unit which carries out a communication with an information processing device. The controller carries out a communication of a multiplexed signal which has been multiplexed, via one terminal among a plurality of terminals with which the multipolar jack is provided.
