Abstract:
A controller of an elevator comprising a synchronous motor employing a permanent magnet in the field as a hoist and using a dynamic brake circuit short−circuiting the terminal of each phase of the permanent magnet synchronous motor through an impedance, wherein a capacitor and a reactor are inserted into the dynamic brake circuit and brake torque can be increased at a specified rotational speed by decreasing the combined impedance of the internal inductance of the motor, the reactor and the capacitor at the specified rotational speed of the motor and decreasing the phase difference between the current of the dynamic brake circuit and the induced voltage.
