Abstract:

A controller for a hybrid car capable of adequately making a desired control depending on the usable capacity of the storage battery. By using the controller, at step S357, it is judged whether or not the flag value of energy storage zone B flag F&lowbar ESZONEB is “1”, and the processing moves to step S358 in the case of “yes”. At step 358, the WOT assist amount coefficient lower limit table value KQBWOASTL that increases with the usable area PECAPFIB for the battery remaining capacity SOC is retrieved from a table. At step S359, the WOT assist amount coefficient table value KQBWOASTL that increases with the battery remaining capacity SOC is retrieved from a table between the WOT assist amount coefficient lower limit table value KQBWOASTL and a predetermined upper limit. The product of the multiplication of the WOT assist command variable WOTAST by the WOT assist amount coefficient table value KQBWOAST is used as a new WOT assist command variable WOTAST.
