In a control part (1), a drag-eliminating control means (52) instructs an internal combustion engine (2) to start up and rotatably drives a mechanical oil pump when a drag-determining means (51) has determined that there exist conditions for drag to occur in a clutch (C-1) as a result of insufficient supply of oil by an electric oil pump to the cancel oil chamber of the clutch (C-1) during EV travel. When drag occurs in the clutch (C-1), a large amount of oil is supplied from the mechanical oil pump to the cancel oil chamber, and the incidence of drag in the clutch (C-1) is prevented. The electric oil pump can thereby be made smaller than when drag is prevented using a large electric oil pump.
