Abstract:
A controller of a magnetic bearing changes the sampling rate of a DSP (4) according to the change in the number of rotations of a rotating member (1). As a result, the frequency range to be attenuated by a notch filter (42), i.e., a digital filter, varies with a resonant frequency at which the number of revolutions resonate with the natural resonant frequency, thus attenuating the resonant signal in the control signal. Resonance can thus be prevented by digital control.
