Abstract:
Provided is a technology whereby a user is notified of anomalies in appliances even if said appliances do not have anomaly-detection features. A controller (100) includes the following: a display (102); a communication interface (105); a memory (101) that, for each of a plurality of appliances, stores an anomaly condition (101A) for detecting anomalies on the basis of power consumption; and a processor (110). Via the communication interface, the processor acquires information indicating the power consumption of each appliance. The processor refers to the anomaly conditions to detect anomalies on the basis of the acquired power-consumption information, and information indicating that an anomaly has occurred is displayed on the display by the processor.
