Abstract:
In the present invention, a signal generated by a main interferometer is sampled at a suitable timing. This controller (110) comprises: a light source (140); a main interferometer (150) that generates a main interference signal; an auxiliary interferometer (160) that generates an auxiliary interference signal; a variable delay amount generation unit that generates a variable delay amount; a correction signal generation unit (171) that, on the basis of the auxiliary interference signal and the variable delay amount, generates a correction signal for correcting the sampling period of the main interference signal; a processing unit (118) that measures the distance to a measurement target (T) on the basis of the main interference signal and the correction signal; and a variable delay amount setting unit (195) that sets a variable delay amount on the basis of at least one peak from among a peak in a signal based on a digital signal that pertains to the main interference signal sampled on the basis of the correction signal, and a peak in a signal based on a digital signal that pertains to a reflected signal generated by the main interferometer (150) and that is sampled on the basis of the correction signal.
