Abstract:
Provided is a controller for unlocking an electronic lock using an unlocking process having excellent convenience for a user. A home controller comprises a memory, a CPU, and a communication interface that communicates with an electronic lock. The memory associates, for each individual, identification information used to identify an individual with category information for specifying the relevant individual's category from among a plurality of categories that specify an individual, and stores the same. The CPU performs individual authentication on the basis of externally input information and identification information. From the category information stored for each individual, the CPU specifies category information associated with the identification information of the authenticated individual. Using the transmission interface the CPU puts the electronic lock into an unlocked state using the unlocking process that is in accordance with specified category information.
