Abstract:

A controller of a work vehicle capable of easily performing the operations of a tractor or a wheel loader which frequently performs such operation as alternately repeated switching between forward and backward movements and stop and start of running. The controller comprises a gear shift sensor detecting the depressed amount of a gear shift pedal, an actuator adjusting the angle of the swash plate of a hydraulic pump based on the detected values of the gear shift sensor, a gear shift output part rotating sensor detecting the rotational speed of an output shaft, and a control means. The control means is characterized in that it controls the work vehicle to apply a brake to running wheels when the gear shift pedal is not depressed and disengage both a forward clutch and a backward clutch, and to engage either of the forward clutch and the backward clutch according to the depression of the gear shift pedal when a gear shift drive output detected by the gear shift output part rotating sensor is equal to or less than a forward/backward switching speed, and when the engagement of either of the forward clutch and the backward clutch is confirmed, releases the brake applied to the running wheels.
