Abstract:
A controller (410) for controlling the operation of deck cranes (122, 124, 126, 128)
on a cargo board (100) equipped with a plurality of deck cranes (122, 124, 126,
128) each having a motor and a regeneration unit (350), and an electric condenser (260)
for accumulating power generated from the regeneration unit (350), comprises a
section (412) for receiving and holding the designation of operation for each deck
crane (122, 124, 126, 128) and calculating the prediction value of regeneration power
when the operation is executed, and a section (414) for transmitting the designation
of operation involving power consumption to other deck crane (122, 124, 126,
128) earlier until the free capacity of the electric condenser (260) exceeds
the prediction value if the prediction value exceeds the free capacity acquired
from the electric condenser (260) when it is compared with the prediction value.
