Abstract:
Provided is a controller, comprising: a universal computation unit (2); a control computation unit (3); a realtime communication path (4) and a non-realtime communication path (5) which are communications paths for transmitting and receiving data between the universal computation unit (2) and the control computation unit (3); and a communication path management unit (6) which retains information of the realtime communication path (4) and the non-realtime communication path (5). The universal computation unit (2) further comprises: a storage unit (21) which stores command data which is data of commands which are executed by either the universal computation unit (2) or the control computation unit (3); a priority calculation unit (23) which calculates the priority of the command data which is executed with the control computation unit (3); and a communication path selection unit (24) which, on the basis of information of the priority which is calculated with the priority calculation unit (23) and of the information of the realtime communication path (4) and the non-realtime communication path (5) which is retained with the communication path management unit (6), selects from the realtime communication path (4) and the non-realtime communication path (5) the communication path which is used in transmitting the command data to the control computation unit (3).
