Abstract:
An image forming apparatus and method for controlling a fuser driver that supplies power to a fuser are provided. The image forming apparatus performs wave number control and phase control with respect to input alternating current power, and supplies power to the fuser. In an example, the image forming apparatus controls the fuser driver so as to alternately perform the wave number control and the phase control.
