Abstract:
An analog/digital conversion device which performs analog/digital conversion using different analog/digital conversion circuits for analog signals having different levels, and a control method therefor are provided. If an analog signal (Vsig) is above a threshold value, then an output terminal (S1) of a first switch (15) is turned on. The analog signal (Vsig) is converted into digital data in a single-slope analog/digital conversion circuit (11). If the analog signal (Vsig) is below the threshold value, then an output terminal (S2) of the first switch (15) is turned on. The analog signal (Vsig) is converted into digital data in a hybrid analog/digital conversion circuit (12) that converts analogue signals (Vsig) above the threshold into digital data with a lower accuracy than that of the single slope analog/digital conversion circuit.
