Abstract:
This converter 500 rectifies alternating current voltages of three phases R, S, and T. Six semiconductor switches form a high-side arm and a low-side arm of each of R phase, S phase, and T phase. A gate signal generation unit 520 generates a gate signal in accordance with a combination of the polarities of each of an R-S voltage, an S-T voltage, and a T-R voltage. A driver 530 drives the six semiconductor switches in accordance with the gate signal.
