Abstract:
A converter of the present invention is provided with: a first diode (D1), in which the anode and the cathode are connected to an input terminal (T0) and a first output terminal (T1), respectively; a second diode (D2), in which the anode and the cathode are connected to a second output terminal (T2) and the input terminal, respectively; a first transistor (Q1) connected between the first output terminal and the input terminal; a second transistor (Q2) connected between the input terminal and the second output terminal; and a bidirectional switch, which is connected between the input terminal and a third output terminal (T3), and which includes third to sixth diodes (D3-D6) and a third transistor (Q3). The first diode, the second diode, and the third transistor are formed of a wide bandgap semiconductor, and the first and second transistors and the third to sixth diodes are formed of a semiconductor excluding the wide bandgap semiconductor.
