Abstract:
Generally, in a power supply circuit included in a flash type A/D converter, different voltages are applied across resistors connected in series, and divided voltages are used as reference voltages. Consequently, a steady current flows through the resistors in series, resulting in an increase in the power consumption of the power supply circuit. The present invention addresses the problem by applying an OS transistor and a capacitive element in the power supply circuit, thereby allowing a reference voltage to be maintained for a long time even in the absence of power supply. In this way, the power consumption of the power supply circuit of a flash type A/D converter can be reduced.
