Abstract:
In a DC/DC converter (1), during step-up from an input portion (20A) to an output portion (20B) or during step-down from the output portion (20B) to the input portion (20A), a second driver IC (10B) outputs a control signal to a charge pump circuit (30), said control signal controlling a switching element (Q4) so that the switching element (Q4) repeats alternate on and off switching when a switching element (Q1) is on and a switching element (Q2) is off. During step-up from the output portion (20B) to the input portion (20A) or during step-down from the input portion (20A) to the output portion (20B), a first driver IC (10A) outputs a control signal to the charge pump circuit (30), said control signal controlling the switching element (Q2) so that the switching element (Q2) repeats alternate on and off switching when a switching element (Q3) is on and the switching element (Q4) is off. As a result, the DC/DC converter (1) can drive a charge pump circuit without being provided with an oscillator circuit.
