Abstract:
The present invention relates to a convertible car roof system which improves a vehicle's day and night-time aesthetics and safety, constituted in such a way that the frame of the vehicle is used as an occupant-protecting device should the vehicle overturn, while the inside of the frame is provided with a roof rail so as to control the path of travel of the roof, and rollers which are provided to the front and rear of the vehicle are employed to control the shutting of the roof in a winding fashion, and, additionally, a roof-driving device of the electrically operated antenna type or hydraulic antenna type is provided by a roller-facing method such that it is possible to open and close the roof quickly, and even just a portion of the top can be opened and shut and the roofs of not only small vehicles but also large vehicles can be selectively opened without substantially reducing speed while the vehicle is moving regardless of the diversity of vehicle design and vehicle material quality, in addition to which illumination devices are provided on the vehicle frame and roofs of composite materials and two colours and patterned roofs.
