Abstract:
A conveyance apparatus (100) is provided with: a bogie (10); a support pillar (20); a lifting mechanism (40) that has a lifting device (30) and a carriage (90); a detector (M) that detects the weight of an article supported on the carriage (90); and a control device (70). A memory unit (72) stores a plurality of weight levels, and also stores, with respect to each of the weight levels, a traveling control parameter for the bogie (10) and a traveling limit height (H) for the lifting mechanism (40). A processor (71) is configured to select a weight level in accordance with the weight of an article detected by the detector (M) and cause the bogie (10) to move on the basis of the traveling control parameter for the selected weight level when the height of a prescribed point (Pg) set for the lifting mechanism (40) is equal to or lower than the traveling limit height (H) for the selected weight level.
