Abstract:
Plate-shaped buffer plates (64) are provided on the sloped surface (63) of the chute of a conveyance section, which conveys hydrogenated petroleum resin pellets, so as to protrude from the sloped surface (63), and the buffer plates (64) are disposed in such a manner that the orientation of the flat surfaces thereof is tilted so as to intersect the direction of slope of the sloped surface (63). The hydrogenated petroleum resin pellets flowing on the sloped surface (63) make contact with the buffer plates (64). As a result, the direction of flow of the hydrogenated petroleum resin pellets is changed and the speed of flow of the pellets is reduced. The reduction in the speed of the flow reduces an impact to which the hydrogenated petroleum resin pellets are subjected when the pellets flow, and as a result, the breakage of the pellets due to an impact during the conveyance is reduced.
