Abstract:
A conveyance device which includes: a conveyance line which conveys a belt-shaped film; a plurality of rollers which constitute the conveyance line; and a length-measuring instrument which measures the amount that the film has been conveyed. The length-measuring instrument is provided to at least one roller among the plurality of rollers. A first region and a second region, which has a larger frictional force than the first region, are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the roller to which the length-measuring instrument has been provided. The first region is provided to the central section of the roller in the width direction, said central section being parallel to the central axis of the roller. The second region is provided to the end sections of the roller in the width direction.
