Abstract:
Provided are a conveyance form changing device and a conveyance form changing method for absorbent articles, with which, when some kind of processing is performed on absorbent articles being conveyed in a plurality of rows, it is possible to reduce the installation cost and the installation area of a device that performs the processing. A conveyance form changing device (100) for absorbent articles (20) comprises a first conveyance unit (110), a second conveyance unit (120), and a movement unit (200). The first conveyance unit conveys the absorbent articles, which are arranged in a plurality of rows in a first direction (CD1), in a first conveyance direction (MD1) orthogonal to the first direction. The second conveyance unit conveys the absorbent articles in a row along a second conveyance direction (MD2). The movement unit moves the absorbent articles conveyed by the first conveyance unit to the second conveyance unit.
