Abstract:
Provided is a conveyance robot in which it is possible to reduce the elevator drive force required in an elevator drive means. This conveyance robot comprises: a first link member (2) configured so as to be capable of rotating about a first axis (L1); a second link member (3) configured so as to be capable of rotating about a second axis (L2) positioned at a predetermined distance relative to the first axis; a holding member (7) configured so as to be capable of holding an object and of rotating about a third axis (L3) positioned at a predetermined distance relative to the second axis; and the elevator drive means (4) for driving at least the holding member so as to ascend/descend. The first link member, the second link member, and the holding member are connected in the sequence listed, and form an arm link mechanism. The elevator drive means is disposed between the first link member and the holding member and forms a part of the arm link mechanism.
