Abstract:
The present invention is a conveyance roller for conveying a material pertaining to an absorbent product in a conveyance direction. The present invention has: a roller part for conveying the material, the roller part having a cylindrical part; and a motor for driving and rotating the roller part, at least a portion of the motor being accommodated in a space on the internal peripheral side of the cylindrical part. A support member for supporting the conveyance roller has a front-side surface toward one side in a CD direction orthogonal to the vertical direction and the conveyance direction, while having a back-side surface toward the other side in the CD direction. The roller part is supported in a cantilevered support state via the motor on the front-side surface.
