The orientation of an article to be inspected (10) is changed by a simple configuration. The behavior of this invention is explained. First of all, while one surface (11b) of the article to be inspected (10) faces the front of a conveyance device (30) and the first region (R1) of a mounting member (20) is in contact with a first resistance application section (33A), the slippage between the first region (R1) and the first resistance application section (33A) is suppresed. This moves the mounting member (20) forward while rotating clockwise (see the symbol 5A). Next, when the second region (R2) of the mounting member (20) comes into contact with the first resistance application section (33A), a slippage occurs between the second region (R2) and the first resistance application section (33A), which stops the rotation of the mounting member (20)(see the symbol 5B). Next, the mounting member (20) comes into contact with a second resistance application section (33B), so that the mounting member (20) moves forward while rotating clockwise (see the symbol 5C). Next, the third region (R3) comes into contact with the second resistance application section (33B), so that the mounting member (20) stops the rotation (see the symbol 5D).
