Abstract:
A conveyance system (1) includes a traveling area (3) and a suspension-type traveling truck (10). The traveling area (3) includes a lattice area (3a) and a linear area (3b). The lattice area (3a) has a plurality of first tracks (31) arranged therein, has a plurality of second tracks (32) arranged therein so as to intersect with the first tracks (31), and thereby has a plurality of unit blocks which are surrounded by the first tracks (31) and the second tracks (32) and which each have the same shape. Both the first tracks (31) and the second tracks (32) surrounding the unit blocks, have gaps in which a support body passes and which are orthogonal to the longitudinal directions of the corresponding tracks (the first tracks (31) or the second tracks (32)). In the linear area (3b), a traveling direction is defined in a first direction or a second direction, and no gap orthogonal to the traveling direction is formed.
