Abstract:

This conveying device (10) is provided with: a plurality of retaining mechanisms (19) attached to a rotating shaft (15); a speed change mechanism that changes the angular velocity of the plurality of retaining mechanisms (19) so that an angular difference occurs between two adjacent retaining mechanisms (19) among the plurality of retaining mechanisms (19); a first cover (22) that extends from a first retaining mechanism, which is one of the two retaining mechanisms (19), toward a second retaining mechanism, which is the other of the two retaining mechanisms (19), so as to cover a gap between the two retaining mechanisms (19) from the outside in the radial direction of the rotating shaft (15); and a second cover (23) that extends from the second retaining mechanism toward the first retaining mechanism and overlaps the first cover (22) in the radial direction so as to cover the gap from the outside in the radial direction. Both the covers (22, 23) are long enough so as to be able to overlap each other in the radial direction while the two retaining mechanisms (19) are furthest apart from each other.
