Title:
CONVEYING DEVICE USED UNDER CONDITION HAVING LARGE PRESSURE DIFFERENCE, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/055873
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A conveying device used under a condition having a large pressure difference, said condition being found in a pressure removing process of the process of manufacturing gas hydrate pellets.  The conveying device reliably shuts off pressure, uses a reduced number of incidental facilities, is small-sized, and has a high processing speed.  A method of controlling the conveying device is also provided.  The conveying device (1) comprises: a casing (15) provided with a spherical valve chamber located at the center of the casing and having one side connected to a high-pressure-side high-pressure pipe (21) and the other side connected to a low-pressure-side low-pressure pipe (22); a spherical valve (11) rotatably supported in the casing (15); a gap section (16) which is a gap formed between the casing (15) and the spherical valve (11); a high-pressure-side seal (13) for sealing the high-pressure pipe (21) and the gap section (16); and a low-pressure-side seal (14) for sealing the low-pressure pipe (22) and the gap section (16).  A portion of the spherical valve (11) is bored to form a conveying chamber (12) having an opening (23) corresponding to the high-pressure pipe (21) or the low-pressure pipe (22).  An object to be conveyed contained in the conveying chamber (12) is conveyed by rotation of the spherical valve (11).
