Abstract:
This conveying device comprises a hollow conveying rail that extends along a conveying direction of an object, and a conveying body that travels along the conveying rail and supports the object. The conveying rail comprises an opening that extends along the conveying direction so as to arrange the conveying body, and a conveyor part that is established inside the conveying rail so as to be parallel to the opening part. The conveying body comprises a connecting part for connecting the conveying body to the conveyor part so that the conveying body can travel in the opening part. A blocking belt that extends so as to block substantially the entirety of the opening is furthermore provided inside the conveying rail. The blocking belt is supported by the conveying rail so as to be capable of rotating on the outer peripheral side of the conveyor part. The two ends of the blocking belt are joined to the two conveying-direction ends of the conveying body, whereby the blocking belt is capable of rotating along with driving of the conveyor part.
