Abstract:
When cargo is to be discharged from a vessel (3), the vessel (3) is lifted by a hoist cylinder (10) obliquely rearward with respect to a vehicle (2). However, when discharge work is to be suspended before completion, the vessel (3) is temporarily lowered to a position where the same is seated on the vehicle (2). When the vessel (3) is being lowered, the weight of that portion of the cargo which is left loaded, plus the weight of the vessel (3), acts on the hoist cylinder (10) as a load. On the basis of various detection signals, a controller (35) determines whether the vessel (3) is being lowered in a loaded state. When the vessel (3) is being lowered in a loaded state, switching of directional control valves (20, 21) is controlled in such a way as to reduce the retraction speed of the hoist cylinder (10), resulting in the vessel (3) being prevented from impacting the vehicle (2)
