Abstract:
A conveyor device configured in such a manner that, in order to reduce pulsation of the horizontal travel speed of a chain of the conveyor device, the chain is driven by a sprocket. The conveyor device is provided with a guide for guiding pins of the chain. The guide surface of the guide guides the pins along the trajectory of the intersection between a radial line passing through the center of a sprocket groove and a circular arc having a radius which is the distance between first and second pins of a certain link. At the entrance portion of the guide, a pin is received at a position on the pitch circle of the sprocket, and then the pin is moved to a position outside the pitch circle in the radial direction to suppress rocking of a step and pulsation of the chain. Pulsation of the conveyor device using the chain can be suppressed.
