Abstract:
Provided is a conveyor roller that has high sealing performance and long service life while allowing manufacture at low cost. The roller is provided with: a roller body (2) having a round tubular shape; a shaft (3) forming a center axis; bearings (4a, 4b) respectively provided to both ends of the shaft (3) and axially supporting the shaft (3); housings (5a, 5b) for supporting the shaft (3) in a rotatable manner via the bearings (4a, 4b), said housings (5a, 5b) being respectively press-fitted into openings on both sides of the roller body (2); first seal members (6a, 6b) that slide relative to the housings (5a, 5b) and seal the bearings (4a, 4b) and the interior of the roller body (2); and second seal members (7a, 7b) for enhancing the roller body (2) interior sealing effect.
