Abstract:
This conveyor comprises: pusher pieces (19) that are fixed to transport rods (18) that cause a substrate transport path to move in a reciprocating motion; and a switching mechanism that switches to an engagement position where the pusher pieces (19) are made to engage with the rear end surface of a substrate (7), and to a disengagement position where the pusher pieces (19) do not interfere with the substrate (7). The switching mechanism has a guide member (23) provided with guide holes (24) for guiding guide rods (22). The guide holes (24) are constituted by: first and second guide holes (25, 26) that extend parallel to each other in the direction of transportation; and inclined linked guide holes (27, 27) that link the ends of the first and second guide holes (25, 26). When the transport rods (18) move in a reciprocating motion, the guide rods (22) go around the guide holes (24) in a closed loop. When each guide rod (22) is guided by the first guide hole (25), the pusher piece (19) is positioned in the engagement position. When each guide rod (22) moves to the second guide hole (26) from the first guide hole (25), the transport rod (18) rotates axially at a predetermined angle, and the pusher piece (19) is positioned in the disengagement position.
