Abstract:
A convolution operation method, a convolution operation apparatus, an electronic device and a storage medium. The convolution operation method comprises: determining an operation convolution kernel, wherein the operation convolution kernel is obtained on the basis of an initial convolution kernel, the initial convolution kernel is expressed as [R, S, C, K], the operation convolution kernel is expressed as [1, 1, (C × R × S), K], and R, S, C and K are all integers greater than 0; adjusting an arrangement mode of input data on the basis of the number of channels of the operation convolution kernel, so as to obtain target data, wherein the size of the target data and the number of channels of the target data are different from the size of the input data and the number of channels of the input data, and the number of channels of the target data is equal to the number of channels of the operation convolution kernel; and performing a convolution operation on the basis of the target data and the operation convolution kernel, so as to obtain a convolution operation result. The convolution operation result of the target data and the operation convolution kernel is equal to a convolution operation result of the input data and the initial convolution kernel. By means of the convolution operation method, the utilization rate of a matrix operation unit can be improved, thereby effectively using the computing power of the matrix operation unit, and shortening the convolution operation time.
