Abstract:
A cooking apparatus and a control method therefor are disclosed. The cooking apparatus according to the present disclosure can: acquire a first setting value by adjusting a setting value for at least one parameter related to a camera, if a first event related to the acquisition of an image of food ingredients arranged in the cooking apparatus is identified; acquire, through the camera, on the basis of the first setting value, at least one image of the food ingredients arranged in the cooking apparatus; acquire the first setting value if a second event is identified during acquisition of the at least one image; acquire a first image of the food ingredients on the basis of a second setting value; provide the first image to a user; acquire a second image for which the second setting value used to acquire the first image is changed to the first setting value; input the second image into an object recognition model for recognizing food ingredients; and acquire information about the food ingredients included in the second image.
