Abstract:
Disclosed is a cooking apparatus which has: a base material comprising a placement surface on which food is placed; and a heating layer (3) formed on the surface of the base material, and comprising a microwave heating element containing ferrite which absorbs microwave energy and generates heat. The placement surface of a grill plate, which is the cooking apparatus, can be raised in a short time to a predetermined temperature due to having a constitution in which the ferrite includes Fe2O3, MnO and ZnO and the weight ratio of Fe2O3 with respect to ZnO is in the range of 11-24, and the temperature of the placement surface of the grill plate can be kept to a temperature equal to or lower than the permitted heat resistance temperature tolerated by the material constituting the grill plate. It is therefore possible to improve grill-plate cooking performance and to attain durability, safety and reliability.
