Abstract:
In this cooking apparatus, a case (5) is supported by a support part (6) at a position lower than the opening surface of an opening (12a) in a supporting platform (12) with a weight detection unit (7) interposed therebetween. The weight detection unit (7) detects the weight of an object to be heated such as a cooking container (1) which has been placed on the case (5) or the top plate (2). In this manner, the weight detection unit (7) is not influenced even if a liquid spills on the supporting platform (12), allowing detection accuracy and reliability to be ensured. In addition, by limiting the height of the cooking apparatus emerging past the supporting platform (12) in the upper direction, the cooking apparatus can be provided having highly designable properties and user-friendly properties.
