Abstract:
The present invention relates to an cooking appliance (1) for selectively cooking with gas or electricity, comprising: a housing (2) which accommodates: an electrical resistance heater (3) which comprises electrical terminals (4); a gas burner assembly (5) which comprises a gas inlet (6) for connection to the gas mains supply, wherein the electrical terminals (4) are arranged in close proximity to the gas inlet (6); and a cutout (7) which opens into the housing (2) and gives access to the gas inlet (6) for connection to the gas mains supply.
