Abstract:
The invention concerns an appliance for cooking food comprising: a main body wherein is mounted a cooking vessel (6), a lid (7) mounted removable relative to the main body and designed to substantially seal said main body during cooking, means for treating cooking smells (10) combined with the lid (7), heating means. The invention is characterised in that the lid (7) is mounted removable relative to the main body, so that it can be separated simultaneously from the main body and the cooking smell treating means (10). The invention is applicable to deep fryers.
