Abstract:
A cooking appliance (1) comprises a pot body (40) inside which an inner pot (41) is provided, a cover body (10, 210, 310), a steam generating device (20) and a detecting device (30, 230, 330) comprising a triggering member (32, 232, 332) and a detecting member (31, 231, 331). The cover body (10, 210, 310) is provided on the pot body (40) in an openable and closable manner, and when it is coveringly closed on the pot body (40), forms a cooking space with the inner pot (41) between them. The steam generating device (20) is used for generating steam that assists cooking. It is provided in the cover body (10, 210, 310) and comprises a steam generating cavity (23) and a steam cover panel (25, 225, 325). The steam generating cavity (23) is used for accommodating water to be heated to generate steam, and is capable of communicating with the cooking space via a steam passage so as to guide the steam into the cooking space. The steam cover panel (25, 225, 325) is connected to the cover body (10, 210, 310), and is openable and closable relative to the steam generating cavity (20). The detecting device (30, 230, 330) is in a first state where it is triggered by the triggering member (32, 232, 332) when the steam cover panel (25, 225, 325) is coveringly closed, and in a second state where it is not triggered when the steam cover panel (25, 225, 325) is open. The cooking appliance (1) can determine whether the steam cover panel (25, 225, 325) is coveringly closed or not based on the state of the detecting member (30, 230, 330), so as to remind a user and prevent the occurrence of the situation where the user forgets to coveringly close the steam cover panel (25, 225, 325), thus has good safety.
