Abstract:
A cooking device (10) having a main body outer shell (12) which is provided with an inlet port (14). The main body outer shell (12) houses, in the interior, a heating source (11), a control board (23), and a fan unit (30); the fan unit (30) being provided with a centrifugal fan (17) which rotates about a rotation center line oriented substantially orthogonal to the inner bottom of the main body outer shell (12), and a fan case (21) for housing the centrifugal fan (17). The fan case (21) is provided with an air-intake port (19) oriented substantially orthogonal to the inner bottom of the main body outer shell (12) and provided so as to face the inlet part (18) of the centrifugal fan (17), and an air-outlet port (20) for discharging air taken in through the air-intake port (19). The air-intake port (19) of the fan case (21) is set at a distance from the inlet port (14) of the main body outer shell (12) in top view, and an air channel (24) is formed from the inlet port (14) to the air-intake port (19). The channel (24) is provided with an expanded channel cross-section part (24b) in which the channel cross-section expands from the upstream side to the downstream side with respect to the direction of the flow of air.
