Abstract:
The present invention comprises: an external body (110) of which one side is open; an insertion body (120) capable of opening and closing the open side of the external body (110), and having an inner space (121) in which cooking fat and oil can be stored; an information sign board (130) integrally having an input unit (140) and a display unit for displaying a set temperature and information on cooking fat and oil stored in the inner space (121) of the insertion body (120); a cooling device unit (150) for cooling the temperature of the inner space (121) of the insertion body (120); a sensor unit (160) for transmitting sensed data to a control unit; the control unit (170) for controlling through the data sensed in the sensor unit (160); and a standard timer unit (180) for allowing the control unit (170) to determine the current time. According to the present invention, the cooking fat and oil storage device and the control method therefor are capable of: setting the proper temperature in each compartment with respect to each of the stored cooking fat and oil; blocking light so as to prevent the conversion into trans fat and acidification; and setting and marking, through the information sign board, names, manufacturing dates, expiration dates, and set temperatures of cooking fat and oil in each compartment, wherein the availability for each of the cooking fat and oil is marked by colors so as to intuitively confirm, in advance, the replacement time of the cooking fat and oil, thereby having a remarkable effect of preventing the cooking fat and oil from passing the expiration dates thereof.
