Abstract:
Provided is a cooking utensil that makes it possible to grip and shape ingredients during a cooking process and to grip cooked food without damaging the outer shape thereof. The cooking utensil includes a pair of grip sections capable of opening and closing and a pair of grasping sections connected to each of the pair of grip sections. Ingredients are grasped between the pair of grasping sections. At least a first grasping section that is one of the grasping sections is formed by arranging, at predetermined intervals, the loop parts of a plurality of wires comprising loop parts, and when in an initial state, said first grasping section has a recessed shape forming an inner space for accommodating an ingredient. At least some of the loop parts of the first grasping section are capable of bending, and the first grasping section has gaps between the wires in the depth direction of the recessed shape.
