Abstract:
A coolant filter capable of reducing the size of the entire part thereof, increasing an economic effect, saving a space, and improving a working environment, comprising a rectangular liquid tank (1) allowing coolant containing chips flowing out from a machine tool to flow therein and a pump (4) sucking and discharging the chips precipitated in the liquid tank (1), wherein curved faces (6) are provided on the corner part insides of the rectangular liquid tank (1), and the coolant is allowed to flow therein from the corner parts or near the corner parts of the liquid tank (1) to generate a swirl flow in the liquid tank (1) so as to collect deposit to the center part of the liquid tank (1).
