Abstract:
This coolant regeneration method (1a) involves: a centrifugal separation and circulation step (A) comprising a centrifugal separation step (S2) for supplying a portion of a used coolant (3) to a centrifugal separation unit (2) having a vertical centrifugal separator and for centrifugally separating the same into a solid portion (17) and a centrifugally separated liquid (19), and a centrifugally separated liquid mixing step (S3) for mixing the centrifugally separated liquid (19) with the used coolant (3); a membrane separation and circulation step (B) comprising a membrane separation step (S4) for supplying the rest of the used coolant (3) to a membrane separation unit (7) having a filter membrane (6) and for separating the same by means of the membrane into a concentrated liquid (22) and a membrane filtered liquid (21), and a concentrated liquid mixing step (S5) for mixing the concentrated liquid (22) with the used coolant (3); and a coolant mix generation step (S6) for mixing the circulated centrifugally separated liquid (19) and the recovered membrane-filtered liquid (21) and producing a coolant (4).
