Abstract:

A cooler for a low-temperature operating article includes a refrigerator and a cold head mounted to the refrigerator. A first Peltier element is fixed in thermal contact with the cold head. A second Peltier element is fixed in thermal contact with the cold head. A first article can be disposed in thermal contact with the first Peltier element, and a second article can be disposed in thermal contact with the second Peltier element. The cold head is cooled by the refrigerator. The first and second Peltier elements control the temperatures of the first and second articles respectively, and the articles are cooled to different temperatures.
