Title:
COOLING-AIR EXHAUST-DUCT STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/183498
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a cooling-air exhaust-duct structure, for an electric vehicle, that both allows smooth exhaust of cooling air and makes it possible to make a unit assembly of battery-system elements, including an exhaust duct, more compact. Said cooling-air exhaust-duct structure for an electric vehicle is provided with the following: a battery exhaust duct (58) through which cooling air that has cooled a drive battery (31) flows; and a first converter exhaust duct (59) and charger exhaust duct (61) through which cooling air that has cooled a first DC-to-DC converter (35) flows. One end of the battery exhaust duct (58) is coupled to a cooling-air exhaust port (31e) for the drive battery (31), which is cooled by cooling air from a cooling fan (52), and the other end of the battery exhaust duct (58) is coupled to a drafter opening (3a) that leads outside the vehicle. As for the first converter exhaust duct (59) and the charger exhaust duct (61), one end is coupled to a cooling-air exhaust port (35c) for the first DC-to-DC converter (35), which is cooled by cooling air from a cooling fan (71) that blows less air than the abovementioned cooling fan (52), and the other end is coupled to a connection opening (58d) formed at a point partway down the battery exhaust duct (58).
