Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cooling apparatus for a train, comprising: a compressor arranged in a main body of the apparatus installed on a ceiling of the train to compress a gaseous refrigerant into a high-pressure refrigerant; a condenser which enables the heat exchange of the gaseous refrigerant compressed into a high pressure refrigerant with the air introduced from the inside of the train by an outdoor blower in order to convert the refrigerant into a high-temperature liquid refrigerant; an expansion valve which removes impurities from the high-temperature liquid refrigerant and converts the refrigerant into a low-temperature liquid refrigerant; a plurality of evaporators which enables the heat exchange of the low-temperature liquid refrigerant with the air introduced from the inside of the train by an indoor blower to convert the air into a low-temperature state and convert the refrigerant into a low-temperature gaseous refrigerant and to supply the gaseous refrigerant to the compressor, wherein the evaporators are arranged opposite the condenser in the main body; a return duct inlet which forms a flow channel for enabling the air existing inside the train to flow from a return duct of an existing-air circulation duct installed in the train to the plurality of evaporators; and a supply duct outlet which forms a flow channel in the lengthwise direction of the train from the flow channel of the return duct inlet such that the heat-exchanged low-temperature air is supplied by the plurality of evaporators to a supply duct of the existing-air circulation duct installed in the train.
