Abstract:
A cooling box (1) comprises a main body unit (2) that has a storage chamber (20) the top surface of which is open and which is surrounded by thermal insulation walls, a door (3) that opens and closes the top surface of the storage chamber (20), a cooling unit (25) that is disposed in a side wall (20a) of the storage chamber (20) and that cools the storage chamber (20), a cold storing bodies (30) that have sealed therein a cold storing agent (31) that freezes due to cooling by the cooling unit (25), and retaining members (41, 42) that retain the cold storing bodies (30), wherein: the retaining members (41, 42) have a ring-shaped frame (45) that engages with the storage chamber (20), and have a support part (46) that is provided upright further towards the inner circumferential side than the outer circumferential edge of the frame (45); the cold storing bodies (30) are mounted on the frame (45) of one retaining member (41) that is disposed in the storage chamber (20), and the frame (45) of the other retaining member (42) is mounted on the top surface of the cold storing bodies (30); and the cold storing bodies (30) are retained between the side wall (20a) of the storage chamber (20) and the support part (46).
